Meet the Miniature Schnauzer Pups
Description
We are pleased to introduce you to our 2 miniature schnauzer puppies, just 7 weeks old now. They were born on February 3rd and won’t be ready to go to their ‘fur-ever’ homes until the end of April or the start of May when they are closer to 12 weeks old. We’d like to invite you to put a hold on one of these adorable pups so you can ensure they will be held for you. In addition, we would ask that you name them and we’ll start using their chosen names. A non-refundable fee of $500 will hold your pup until you arrange pick up. We live in Red Deer County and can arrange to transport the pup into Red Deer, Sylvan Lake or Innisfail if you are unable to travel out to our place to pick up your new family member.
Schnauzers are hypoallergenic and lose very little hair. We live on an acreage and do not have the dogs groomed often; the parents to these 2 do not have docked tails and we have not docked the pups’ tails. Their parents are great mousers and help keep the mouse population in the barn well controlled.
Schnauzers are smart, active, energetic, loyal, and fierce. They attach to their humans very well and can be quite protective of their people. These 2 are not going to be any exception to those characteristics; they are already showing their individual personalities and have lovely, laid-back temperaments. Both parents were purchased from breeders in Calgary and area. Mom, Raven, is black and dad, Hunter has a silver/ grey undercoat with brown and cream when his hair grows out a bit.
The black pup with the neckerchief is a male; he has a bit of white on his chin, a white bib and his back 2 feet have white toes. The vet noted a spot on his left eye where he was likely scratched, either by his sister or himself. This is apparently not uncommon. There is no remaining scar on the cornea and no issue with his vision. The vet advised the spot will continue to shrink over time. We can attest to the fact that he can sure see any bit of paper that drops on the floor and is quick to attack it.
The other pup is a female; she is an interesting colour pattern with cream on her legs, the inside of her ears and on her face. She has brown and grey in her coat as well. She is a bit smaller than her brother and seems to have a more petite build at this point. Her mother is a bit bigger than the father (we have both) but is also a year older. She, too, has a clean bill of health.
