RHD Mitsubishi Evolution 7 GSR
Description
I’m selling my AWD 2001 Evo 7 GSR. Please note that the car is RHD as it’s a Japanese import, that we had brought over in 2019. We are the only Canadian owner since bringing it over. The car has a clean title. Reason for selling is we sell merch at car shows and want to get something bigger to haul our booth setup and want to start saving for a house. No trades offers, thank you.
Pros:
- working heat & AC
- Aftermarket double din pioneer stereo
- Likewise Daytona Pro Shift Knob (black is shown but it’s a custom engraved one. I will be swapping a silver likewise Daytona pro shift knob in place of it)
- Camo shift boot
- custom initial D dash featuring the Evo 7 from the series
- silvers neomax coilovers with swift springs (I also have the covers for them that I’ll include)
- winter tires with OEM rims (silver)
- summer tires with Fast FC09 rims (black)
- STM Tuned O2 Downpipe with screamer pipe (you can’t get these made anymore, shops have been banned from manufacturing them now)
- Gloss black vinyl on roof and wing
- Exedy Stage 1 Clutch (June 2022)
- Works short throw shifter
- Apexi Air Intake
- HKS SSQV4 BOV
- HKS Speed Limit Defender
- Front inner tie rod and front outter tie rod end, rear outter cv boot replaced 2019
- Fuel pump module (pump, harness, etc), idle air control valve, throttle body shaft seals/gaskets, left front wheel hub assembly replaced 2022
- Flywheel resurfaced 2022 when clutch was upgraded
- Sept 2022 cylinder 1 lifters, valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets replaced
- Sept 2022 timing belt, pulleys, tensioner, balance shaft belt all replaced and timing reset.
- Routine maintenance done since ownership.
- New Alternator and battery Dec 2022
Cons (pictures shown of damage):
- some minor paint chips
- Front left fender had been fixed with bondo in Japan, chipped when it came over
- Surface rust starting at panel seams, and door jams. Mostly on panels/doors that could be swapped out eventually. As for chassis some areas around the windshield and “spotting” across.
- Scuff on rear bumper
Overall not too terrible for a 22 year old car! Runs and drives great. This car is honestly so much fun and I hate selling it, but it’s time to adult! It’s always been my dream car, and it’s definitely lived up to the hype. It handles great in our Saskatchewan winters and never fails to start. We did install an oil pan heater. Never been thrashed on, just good old spirited driving. I hope someone else can enjoy this car as much as I have! :)
