Our model is comprised of local branch teams with fully qualified personnel representing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/gas fitting, sheet metal, and electrical trades. These teams are supported by centers of excellence including professional engineers and project managers which ensures Gateway’s full technical capability is available for every project and service call.
The Journeyperson Plumber will perform quality maintenance services for our valued clients on commercial and industrial sites while showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Work within commercial and industrial environments such as supermarkets, data centers, refineries, institutions
Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments
Lift up to 50 lbs
Perform work using hand and power tools in a safe manner
Read and interpret blueprints, basic spec, and shop drawing interpretation considered an asset
Maintain clean and operable equipment, vehicle, and work areas at all time
Maintenance and service of plumbing equipment such as pumps, boilers, and backflows
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Journeyperson Plumber certification
5+ years in a similar role
Gas A Ticket is an asset
Gas and boiler experience is an asset
Valid class 5 driver’s license and current driver’s abstract
Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, H2S Alive, considered an asset
