310T - Truck and Coach Mechanic
Description
Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining and servicing company vehicles and equipment, including inspections, repairs, diagnostics, and ensuring compliance with all provincial safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify defects, malfunctions, or damages
Perform repairs and replacements using appropriate tools and equipment
Diagnose operational issues and recommend effective repair solutions
Order required parts and support timely procurement
Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and prepare repair estimates
Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet safety standards and regulatory requirements
✅ Knowledge & Skills
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and instructions
Good communication skills and ability to work with team members
Familiarity with snow removal equipment (loaders, graders, backhoes) is an asset
Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in varying conditions
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license in good standing
