Featuring eighteen beautifully scenic and challenging holes, Renfrew Golf Club has been the best golf experience in the Ottawa Valley since 1929. This beautiful, friendly, yet challenging, course lies in of the most scenic areas of the Ottawa Valley. There are many high viewpoints where you can view lush farmland, mature forests and the Bonnechere River watershed.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking, team players to join out maintenance crew starting in April/May and available into October. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.
Responsibilities:
Mowing turf, bunker maintenance, course set-up, etc.
Preparing the golf course for play everyday.
Maintain the golf course clean and free of debris.
Operate equipment and power tools, including utility vehicles, mowers and tractors.
Operation of irrigation system and hand watering.
Requirements:
Ability to work early mornings (5:00 AM).
Available to work required weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physically capable of completing required tasks.
Ability to complete tasks with particular attention to detail.
Previous Golf Course/Landscape experience is considered an asset but not required, training is provided with or without experience.
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to arrive at work for 5:00 AM shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Urgently seeking a small working family, for May 2024, to help operate a tourist home bed and breakfast, and to operate a Paintball field Business. Located in Bryson Quebec off the Majestic Ottawa River. You must speak English and other languages French would be an asset. Provide your own transportation. You will live free in the tourist home, with house expenses paid and will receive a small salary per month for your groceries etc. minimum wage
$ 15.75 per hour - 7 hours per day Monday to Friday. Hours and days subject to change with Paintball Field games sometimes may occur on weekends, time off would then occur on week days. The wife must run B&B keep house very clean cook breakfast and meals, and do laundry. The husband must be able to cut trees, cut grass, build small buildings with carpentry experience, run Paintball Field, general knowledge of labor. Both must be nice and friendly to customers.

Looking for a driller's helper to work with our drilling company. This is a labour-intensive job, and a license is required to drive a pick-up truck. Experience towing large trailers and equipment is necessary as well. There is heavy lifting and repetitive movements.
Weekends may be requested/rotation work. Most of the work is on the road. Knowledge of construction sites is an asset; steel toe boots are required.
Clean driving history (within 5 years) is a must for drivers.
Labours don’t have to have a drivers license within 5 years, but still needs to be a clean abstract.
Shop location is Renfrew, ON
Most work is out of town 10days on 4days off.

Looking for work in a horse stable setting in the Deep river - Renfrew area. Grew up with horses and riding! Haven’t been around a farm in a quite a few years due to moving/jobs but really want to get back into it as I want to have my own stable one day. Comfortable doing the gritty work!

My brother and I are looking to help shovel driveways/walkways in our local area as a way to help save for school. We also have 1-2 slots still available for reoccurring snow removal being in the mornings or afternoons.
