Intact female cat for rehoming
Description
Unfortunately, my 5-year-old female cat is not adjusting well to our new puppy who we have had for almost a year now. She is unhappy living here with the puppy even though he isn't mean to her. We have made the tough decision to rehome her due to the simple fact that she will have an easier time finding a loving home since she is so relaxed and loving.
We call her Nova; she is down for cuddles and is very easygoing but isn't a clinger. She is good with kids; my daughter can pick her up under my supervision and Nova basically goes limp and allows my daughter to handle her without putting up a fuss. She is very petite and smaller than the average female cat. Since the puppy has been here, she stands her ground and chooses violence when the puppy dares to look in her direction. She does not do this with any of us though, she has never hit, hissed, or bit us during her adult years.
As with all cats, they don't really like change, I would give her up to 2 weeks to adjust to you, and up to a month to get used to other cats you may have in your home.
If you are interested in giving this little lady a new loving home, please send a message with answers to the following questions:
1. Name
2. Do you have any pets?
3. Why do you think your home is a good fit for Nova?
4. Who will be the primary caretaker of Nova?
5. How long have you been looking for a cat to add to your household?
6. Do all members of your household want to add a cat to the home?
