Zon Sonus Custom - 4 string Bass
Description
It took me about 16 months to get this beauty. (Ordered 23/07/2018 received on 21/11/2019)
I’m not using it as much as I should that is why I’m willing to let it go. It is in a as new condition. It is the most versatile instrument I have ever played. The top is a very rare piece of spalted albino bubinga which came from Joe's personal collection. The neck is made of graphite, so it sounds even and is very stable. The two next 2 questions were taken from Zon’s website about the neck.
Neck
What are the advantages of the composite neck on the Zon bass?
The benefits of our composite neck are that it is extremely stable and will not warp or twist like wood. This means that no adjustments are required and your bass will remain playing consistently great for years to come. Furthermore, these materials enhance the instrument's sound, the bass has better definition, cutting clarity, and attack, and every note across the entire fingerboard is even in sustain and volume, without any dead spots.
Is the fingerboard graphite, too?
No, the fingerboard is called phenowood, which is actually wood (usually birch) that has been impregnated with a phenolic resin. Layers of wood are compressed under heat and pressure, resulting in a material similar to ebony in hardness and appearance, yet it is much more stable.

I’m asking a firm 9500$ for it. It would cost you a lot more to get it now with the inflation going on and the import fees without also considering the wait. It comes from a smokefree environment. Let me know if you need more information or pictures.
