Hey there,
I find it can be hard to make friends as an adult, especially when you are introverted. The process can be a little awkward and I’m sure I won’t be doing it any favours with the following choppy message but here goes: I enjoy writing, nerdy SCI FI, horror, comedy, indie movies, pottery, history, yoga, video games, travelling.. and the list can go on and on but I think that’s probably enough for now!
I would like to think of myself as empathetic, and a good listener. I’m awkward at times with a somewhat dry sense of humour.

I find I have been keeping to myself to much lately, but where does a woman in her mid 50's go to meet new people. As a senior guy of modest, but comfortable and adequate means, I continue to be blessed with so many great long term friends, neighbours, and so far life long passions. The past year has been tragic and difficult however, as I lost my significant other suddenly. She and I shared so many good times with friends and family. My life goes on, and my own good health thus far will permit continued joys with old cars, camper trailer living, and boating summers up north, sunning on remote beaches, cold beer late afts, walks with my dog, strong connection with spirituality, a good sense of humour, and listening to and playing blues music. This is a time to pray, to paint, to socialize, or just focus on creative expression. No experience is necessary, This is an opportunity to create with community, to express your gratitude, your lament, your joy, or your sadness within a welcoming group setting. Enjoy conversation, or listen to music, and be present with your soul and your painting. All materials will be provided.
