Sunsera Salons is looking for a friendly, motivated Receptionist who is also a certified Esthetician (with nail experience) to join our team!
If you love working with clients, enjoy the beauty industry, and can balance front desk duties with hands-on services — we’d love to meet you.
Position Details:
Full-Time / Part-Time / Permanent
Evening & flexible shifts available
In-person position (8th Street location)
About the Role:
This is a dual-role position combining front desk coordination + esthetic services. You’ll be the face of the salon while also providing services like nails and basic esthetics.
We’re looking for someone confident, professional, and sales-minded — someone who can recommend services, upsell products, and create an amazing client experience from start to finish.
✨ Responsibilities:
Front Desk:
Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
Book, confirm, and manage appointments
Answer calls, messages, and client inquiries
Handle payments, POS transactions, and daily cashouts
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Support team with scheduling and daily coordination
Esthetic Services:
Perform nail services (manicures, pedicures, gel, etc.)
Provide basic esthetic services (facials, waxing, etc. if applicable)
Recommend and sell products and service upgrades
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workspace
General Duties:
Upsell services, packages, and add-ons
Assist with salon upkeep and cleaning
Update client profiles and service notes
Ensure every client leaves with a positive experience
✔️ What We’re Looking For:
Certified esthetician (required)
Nail experience (required)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident in recommending and selling services/products
Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Front desk or admin experience is an asset
