Buck Up Farms is a growing Grain & Cattle farm located in the Broadview, Saskatchewan area. We are currently seeking a long-term, reliable, and trustworthy employee who is eager to learn and who, ideally, has a background in agriculture. This is a regular full-time position and during the growing and harvesting season longer hours will be required including weekends.
You will be responsible for the:
Crop Season
· Seeding and Spraying crops,
· Preparation for the crop growing season including spring tillage
· Harvesting (combining)
· Grain storage, cleaning and moving
· Directly working with all farm equipment (sprayer, loaders, 4WD tractors, grain cart, haying equipment)
· Preparation of grain storage and cleaning
· Moving grain
· Utilize power tools for maintenance and repair of equipment and structures
· Assist with heavy lifting and manual labor tasks as needed
· Equipment maintenance
Off Season
· Assisting in feeding cattle
· General maintenance
· Grain monitoring and movement
· Bin aeration set up and handling
Skills required for this position:
· Previous experience operating heavy equipment on a farm or similar setting is preferred.
· Previous experience working with grain and/or cattle· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
· Familiarity with farm machinery and their maintenance requirements
· Proficient in using power tools for repairs and maintenance
· Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Must have a valid drivers license, preferably a Class 1

Job Description:Job Description What we're looking for: Working primarily with our fast-paced Medical Service team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, upgrading, performing preventative maintenances and supporting clinical training on specified ZEISS instruments and software for our customers located in Saskatchewan. You will be responsible for the complete SVO process including troubleshooting, final diagnosis, repairing and reporting. What you'll do:Diagnose and repair all designated products within the territory, including preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades and clinical training as per established protocols.Execute work assignments and schedules as directed by the Regional Service Supervisor and management.Engage CSE Level-3 and other resources to collaboratively support teams and customers.Complete and submit field service reports daily according to written procedures.Complete all necessary forms and reports such as expense reports, quality reports, etc. on time.Overnight travel within the established territory as required, 50-80% travel during peak times.Maintain spare parts inventory according to company guidelines and return unused spare parts promptly.Travel to other regions in Canada as required as well as factory training purposes outside of Canada.Adhere to the rules of engagement and participate in process improvement initiatives.Develop and implement synergy opportunities among other Zeiss teams, Field Service, and other corporate partners when such programs arise.Other duties as required Who you are:A post secondary diploma or degree in a technical discipline is necessary.Field service and / or technical support experience is required.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Must be highly organized, be able to prioritize and manage time effectively.Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP/CRM and geo-localization systems are an asset.Solid interpersonal skills focusing on a customer-centric approach Job ID: 23141141
