The Laird Arena has added a number of upgrades to the facility including theatre style seating in the lobby, individual locker stalls in the 4 dressing rooms, and a fitness centre for off-ice training. We have the Sparx skate sharpener available to keep the blades ready to go. We also have divider bumper pads for the younger age groups.
Whether you just want an extra practice time for your team, or want to schedule a game or even a tournament, we have the facility ready to go for whatever you need.

Use this open court time to learn from the best dodgeball players in the city, and try playing dodgeball with the larger 8-inch balls. A league game will be happening on one court, so it's also a great opportunity to see the Competitive players in action.

Starting a U of S campus rec men's hockey team for term 2 (January 2023). Looking for anyone that wants to play some chill hockey, most likely be in the D league. So the skill level wont be that great if you're new to hockey.
Team fees are 750$ for the whole team, so most likely 50-75$ per person.
No fee for goalies though!

Custodians: A Story of Ancient Echoes is a documentary that tells the story of the land surrounding the Ancient Echoes Interpretive Centre. The privately owned land located near Herschel, Saskatchewan, has significant Indigenous artifacts, such as teepee circles, sacred circles and petroglyphs.
The film explores the calling to settlers of how to care for and share the land respectfully and graciously. This is a new film from award-winning producer Brad Leitch / Rebel Sky Media. This story of Indigenous sacred sites, and landowners from Herschel, explores questions of land and reconciliation in rural Saskatchewan.

The Concordia Junior Alpenrose Dancers are a German Dance Group that welcomes youth ranging in age from 3 to 18 yrs. They practice weekly, on Tuesday evenings, from Sept to May. They perform at cultural events such as Folkfest, as well as at a variety of other venues in the community, such as Senior Care Homes.
