BUNNIE
Description
NOW AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT THE SOO HUMANE SOCIETY.
She responds to ‘Bunny’, very friendly. This rabbit is an excellent indoor pet. She’s confident and doesn’t mind cats. Although, she makes noise and can stress out scaredy cats. This is the reason my friend needs a new home for her. She’s used to small dogs and children. She’s cuddly and is good with litter pans. I’ve had her hold it! She’s less than a year old and approx 10 lbs.
Rabbits are high maintenance. (She pees a lot) and she’s very large and requires consistent access to fresh water and hay. She’s eating pellets now but still requires fresh green veggies in her diet every day. As her teeth grow she need to chew as well. She seems to do it when she’s nervous. Toilet paper/paper towel rolls are helpful. We’re hoping to find her a loving, attentive home. She needs to sleep in her cage at night as it calms her and she’s used to being in there for work hours but runs the house in a contained area with supervision. She territorial pees occasionally so she wears diapers sometimes. This is based on preference. She will come with everything. Including the cage, water bottle, hay troph, litter boxes, diapers and bedding. It best to cut a pee pad in half dianganle for tray liner and shredded paper.
Please be advised she is not a beginner pet and eats a lot.
Feel free to message me any other questions and I’ll respond within 12 hours.
