New Life Coach seeking Clients
Description
Hello,
My name is Melanie. I hold a degree in Community Development and a certificate in Social Welfare from Algoma University, and am double life coach certified.
I realize it's difficult to stand out from the crowd in what seems like a sea of people online offering coaching services, however I'm going to try. I believe in equity and if I'm honest, I feel many coaches offer prices that are not that realistic for the average person, especially in this inflated economy.
While being trained we were told that most coaches start at $60/hr and go up from there according to experience and speciality. Don't get me wrong, I understand everyone is trying to make a living that is doing this, but I thought, what would happen if I made $60 my top rate instead? What if I geared this to income and didn't force people through unrealistic hoops just to get some help? What if it started at $60 and it went down to $10?
I don't believe it's equitable to make people choose between paying a bill and getting that listening ear they may desperately need.
I've heard some say that if people want help bad enough they'll "find the money", so set your price bar high. I don't subscribe to the notion that I have a limiting belief because I won't charge someone a high price for my services though. I chose another approach.
If you struggle with discerning your purpose, social anxiety, overcoming your past, or simply wish to connect your dots to understand yourself better, or perhaps just need a listening ear about nothing in particular, please reach out.
I'm new to this and would love to start honing my skills.
Offering zoom and google meet coaching services, with some in-person sessions available. This will depend upon factors we can discuss prior to your first session.
I am currently scheduling sessions Tues, Wed & Thurs between 11:00am-4:00pm, and 6:30-7:30pm.
Hope to hear from you!
