Calling all Forklift Operators interested in fly in-fly out work!
Are you an experienced and safety focused forklift operator? Are you looking for a new challenge with fly in-fly out work? If you answere yes, then keep reading for a great opportunity out in Kitimat, BC!
As a forklift operator you will be responsible for operating a sitdown counterbalance forklift, on and offloading trucks and moving items into the aluminum smelting pots. While certification is not required, experience of 3+ years is a requirement.
This is a fly-in fly-out position with a 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. The job schedule is 5 days a week, 12 hours per day, with both day and night shifts available. This allows for your time off to be filled with fishing and hiking in amazing British Columbia!

Responsibilities
What will you need to do?
- Operate sitdown counterbalance forklifts to safely move items on and off trucks, including hot items to smelting pots
- Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times while operating forklifts in a hot and challenging work environment
- Direct other operators
- Help with general labour when required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of forklift recent forklift experience
- Valid forklift license is preferred
- Construction / Industrial Labour backgrounds ideal.
- Candidates must be able to pass the pre-employment requirements
- Comfortable working with tools, and forklift / AWP background is an asset
- In BC all forklift operators must have a valid drivers license
