Job Description:Executive Assistant for Social Enterprise $55,000 - $75,000 Full time long-term Hazelton, BC This role as executive assistant will support the founder and leadership team build up the ecological restoration and reforestation seed business, construction of facilities and community outreach. The chosen candidate will analyze documents, prepare research reports and summarize information gleaned from reading, surveying and discussing with team, clients, suppliers and community members. Minimum seven years of experience as an admin or exec assistant, research assistant and/or office manager. Flexible 40 hour work week: work from home 20-30 hours per week. Work 4 days x 10 hours per day or 7am - 3pm spread over 5 days or traditional office hours. Must be in Hazelton a minimum 10 hours per week, 9 months a year. Desired skills: consensus decision making and supporting detailed project execution RESPONSIBILITIESResearch and make recommendations for business tasks and construction procurementSchedule appointments; form, maintain and update calendar and Gantt chartsCoordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries and plan logistics.Submit expense reports for self and leaders; assist others in submittalsMaintain confidentiality of highly sensitive informationAddress many different projects in the span of a week, month & yearDeliver documents to and supervise bookkeeper contractor QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required - we are flexible about what you studiedPriority will be given to higher education with demonstrated job experienceFamiliarity with bookkeeping and accountingClearly demonstrated experience organizing and prioritizing when given multiple tasksProficient in formatting professional written documents and organizing with spreadsheets and gantt charts. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat a bonusAdept as sourcing information from academic journals, webs searches and social media web platforms.Exceptionally good at picking up the phone or going for a visit to key partners!
