Lking to rent a 2/3 bedroom in St. Albert

Hey all. Looking for private rental May 1st, possibly earlier.
Will be looking for a private landlord, 2/3 bedroom rental for my friend and I in St. Albert. Would prefer a house rental, main floor, raised basement, etc I've lived in apartments for 14 years and I'm pretty over it I'll admit, paying for laundry, kids banging on walls, yelling/fighting etc.
We're both have a guaranteed income. Make over $3400 combined but hoping to keep rent for each of us around $900 max as I do have a vehicle and we need to live/eat. Lol. Don't drink, no drugs, don't smoke. I'm 28, he's 21, both responsible and just wanting to start our lives somewhere else.
My credit isn't the best but nothing to do with rentals, car loans or anything. There's a an important reason behind it and it's also not very high the debt I truly owe, so if anyone has any questions about that, please send a message.
Been in the same apartment complex since 2017, was in the 1st building for 4 years, a fire happened unrelated to me and then transfered over to the other building. Want to move as it's just not worth the amount we're paying anymore.
Cat friendly is a must. Fixed, vaccinated and strictly indoors.
