Shallow water entry, very safe for small children but gets deeper at the end of the dock (20ft from shoreline)Beer store, LCBO and a Freshmart grocery store are all in the town of Bala which is a 2 minute drive from the cottage.
The Kee to Bala is also a very well know concert hall and it opens on May 24 weekend (thekee.com). They hosted some very well-known artists last year such as Snoop Dog (not a misprint, I couldn’t believe it either), Kim Mitchell, Blue Rodeo, Sam Roberts, etc.
There is also a few restaurants in Bala, the best being Moon River Lookout.
Gravenhurst is 20 minutes by car where you can find a few other restaurants including Boston Pizza. They also have a Tim’s (very important), Canadian Tire, Sobey’s, McDonalds, etc.
Port Carling is 15 minutes by car where you can do some shopping and it also has a few restaurants and a large grocery store.
The cottage is 45 minutes north of Barrie and is extremely easy to get to, it’s located on a small peninsula so only local traffic to about 20 cottages.
You can google “Windsor Dr, Bala” in Google Maps to get a better idea of the location, the cottage is at the end of the road, facing south.A deposit is due at time of booking via online bank transfer, remaining amount due 1 month prior to arrival date.
A cleaning fee will be charged in addition to the rental rate.
A refundable damage deposit is also due prior to arrival and will be refunded within 1 week after departure.Please note we only rent weekly during July and August, Friday to Friday

This is a region where garbage is not picked up so please bring it with you. There is a Havelock dumping station 10 minutes away where you can leave all garbage there -900 6th Line, Havelock, ON, K0L 1Z0
Any garbage bags left behind will be charged at $20/bag. Please recycle or garbage will not be accepted at the dumping station. Please use Clear bags other bags will not be accepted.
