Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Follow all sanitation and food handling protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is advantageous
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Experience with serving, upselling, cashiering, and basic math skills for cash handling transactions
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
