This key role will help to ensure the Company meets the expectations of our customers by consistently delivering professional, quality and superior customer service. Key Accountabilities · Receive, process and verify accuracy of purchase orders · Actively monitor all incoming orders to ensure timely delivery of product · Assist Account Managers with product quotes · Invoicing, both straight sale and consignment · Participate in inventory control of product supplied to customers. Includes monitoring aging, balancing, reconciliation, physical inventory counts · Maintain internal operational systems as required - pricing templates, customer information · Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system · Ensure all activity complies with all policies & procedures · Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction Job Requirements * Minimum College diploma ideally in Business / Commerce * Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Customer Service/Order Entry in a manufacturing and distribution environment * Strong knowledge of order entry / logistics functions in an integrated computerized environment, within Canada and internationally * Knowledge of ISO quality standards · Experience with processing international orders, both incoming and outgoing · Establish and maintain sound business relationships with customers Capabilities and Success Factors * Experience and strong aptitude for working with an integrated computer system. Ie/ JDE * Experience dealing with international borders · Excellent interpersonal skills, positive, upbeat, and winning attitude · Proven ability to work effectively with peers, management and customers · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong understanding of basic spreadsheets · Demonstrated excellence in organization, time management & effectively multi-tasks · Highly motivated and a self-starter, open to accepting new challenges · Ability to work effectively in a team environment · Professional verbal and written communication skills required Appropriate accommodations will be provided upon request throughout the recruitment and hiring process as required by Company policy and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
