Abit about the Breed....
A Highland Bengal is a hybrid cat resulting from crossing a Highlander (or Highland Lynx) with a Bengal. These rare, energetic, and intelligent cats typically exhibit a combination of the Highlander’s curled ears and polydactyl toes (extra toes) and the Bengal's athletic build and spotted/marbled coat. They are known for being affectionate, playful, and often fond of water.
Key Characteristics and Traits:
Appearance: They are muscular and large, with males weighing 15-20 pounds and females 10-14 pounds. They often have a long, sloping forehead, a "wild" look.
Ears & Paws: A defining feature is their ears, which curl backward. They are also often polydactyl, possessing extra toes.
Temperament: They are highly intelligent, affectionate, and social, making them good pets for active families.
Origin: The Highland breed itself was developed by crossing the Desert Lynx and Jungle Curl.
Highland Bengals are known for their confident and sometimes rambunctious personality, often described as a, "gentle and sweet," but, "wild-looking," companion. They generally get along with other pets and are described as being, "more dog-like," in their social interactions
