Division Manager - Geotechnical Engineering
Description
Our client in Stratford, ON has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Geotechnical Division Manager to join their growing team! This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, while providing leadership and mentorship to engineering staff and developing goals for the business.

Responsibilities
Overseeing the design and delivery of projects working collaboratively with
your team, other service lines, our clients and approval agencies
Providing leadership to Engineers, Technicians, Technologists and
Project Managers.
Mentoring and coaching staff
Establishing short and long-term business plans and revenue targets
Tracking financial performance and adjusting priorities to meet goals
Manage Divisional staffing requirements including hiring, performance, promotions, leave and
time off requests, staff training and development, and compensation discussions/reviews.
Supporting and leading business development initiatives
Producing high quality engineering proposals
Carrying out project related work in the role of Project Manager, stamping engineer and/or
senior reviewer as required
Qualifications
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering
Current P.Eng. designation in the Province of Ontario in good standing
10+ years of relevant consulting experience including both project and team management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate, coach and mentor staff.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all aspects of geotechnical engineering projects
within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Extensive experience preparing geotechnical engineering deliverables and providing senior
technical review on projects.
Previous success in business development and managing client relationships.
