I am going to be very picky with where he ends up. Please reply with some info about your home life/set up if interested :)
Approx 5 year old male (DNA confirmed) pineapple green cheek Conure.
He is hand tame and extremely friendly. Nervous boy but very willing and has a ton of potential.
He is used to being out of his cage all day. Would like to keep it that way. Ideally want to find him a home with a feathered friend as he thrives off that interaction. He recently lost his mate and has been lonely. Unfortunately with my new job it’s not ideal to get another bird, and regardless he deserves sooo much more time and attention than I can give him.
This is a super difficult decision. I ask his new family to please give me updates on him. This is non negotiable. I just want to know how he’s doing from time to time, especially during the first little bit.
He’s on a high quality diet, pellets, fresh “chop” (veggies,fruits etc) along with seeds/nuts as treats and foraging opportunities.
He loves to take baths in a shallow bowl, hangout on your shoulder and loves dancing to music. He’s a very sweet boy.
He’s good with dogs, has been around rabbits and a very quiet old cat lol.
He is flighted but not a very strong flyer. He is good to get his nails cut as well! Seems to favour women too. Again, would ideally like him to go to an amazing home that already has a birdie friend he can bond with.

I have a small cage that could go with him for a bit extra, but he currently has a large flight cage. Unfortunately it is not mine to sell with him, belongs to a family member.
I will send him with some food, along with his favourite perches, toys and bowls.
