Upstairs is spacious with a huge living room & fireplace, a large sunny dining room & kitchen, 3 or 4 bedrooms (one can be a den) and 1.5 bathrooms with a jacuzzi.
Though technically undeveloped, the downstairs has the amenities to really enjoy the rural lifestyle. Come in from cross country skiing (or a long walk in the back 40 acres which connect to an endless wilderness and riparian areas) and remove your winter clothes in the basement. Jump into a hot shower or use the WC without tracking snow all over the upstairs. In the fall, bring in your garden harvest, you can even preserve it in the canning-kitchen and store it in the cold room and huge walk in pantry. Guests can stay in the spacious spare bedroom, or children can use the space as a rumpus room. You can also install your home business office here.
We have city water which is trucked into two large cisterns (one for each house) and share property -wide wifi and security system costs.
Hopefully you have already lived on a rural property with water cistern & septic systems.
The owner lives onsite in a 2nd house so looking for people that enjoy the countryside as much as I do. I have some interesting projects happening on the farm, possibly you can bring in some additional ones. I am willing to negotiate the rental rates for the first few months if you are willing to participate in the minor upgrades.
No smoking inside the house. Looking for responsible, respectful, clean, and quiet tenants. No drug users or crazy party people need apply.
