I am a 26-yr-old artist from Sudbury competing in the We Can Survive Opening Act Competition to open for major artists at the concert. I'm currently in 3rd place and really hoping to win this and actually start a music career and see my gf again on The West Coast and hopefully close that distance. Also I hope to talk Adam Levine and Ryan Tedder into playing at the Sudbury Arena while I'm there since I'm a huge fan of Maroon 5 and OneRepublic. I am under the name Wolfgang.
You can often catch me often on weekends and sometimes weekdays off (I do have a day job) playing my acoustic guitar and busking either at Bell Park just at the mouth of the Boardwalk or just outside the YMCA Downtown (my more frequent spot) playing originals, covers and sometimes just screwing around, I'm hard to miss, I'm a big tattooed guy.
Link to my Youtube is provided above the link to my contest page. Please vote home team!!!

I'm posting this ad in hopes that it may interest a stay at home mom looking to make some extra money or a student in between jobs. My name is Amanda and I have a son who is turning 1 in September. I start back to work October 10th and finding childcare has become such a stressful situation. I'm looking for an individual who would be interested in watching my son, possibly along with their own kids in my home in Lively from 8am-5pm. This would be for three days a week for a small transition period and then progressing to 5 days which is the end goal by at least the new year. Possibly sooner, if it works out for all! My fiancé and I both work from home but the ground floor that has access to the backyard would be completely empty and available. My fiancé works in an office in the basement, and I work in an office on the top floor. We are constantly in meetings and rarely leave our desk so we would not be hovering around you by any means. With that said, we would be available should you have any questions either by text or you can just come to us, that's not a problem! We can not afford a salary rate of $20/hour, but are looking for more of the rate of a daycare of $50/day. There would be no cleaning, grocery shopping or anything like that required. We would provide all meals for the baby so there would be no cooking needed either. We are both very laid back and truly all we are looking for is someone who can keep our son safe and loved during the day. If this is of interest to you, please send me a message and we can chat more and iron out some of the details.

Hi, we're a couple on here looking to make some new friends. We enjoy good conversation, music, BBQs, fires, summer get togethers and just hanging out. We're looking to meet people with similar interests that enjoy a more simple, quiet life. So if you're mid 30's and older and find it difficult to meet new people or are just looking to make new friends we'd love to hear from you. Please include some details about yourself when responding, thank you.

As described in the photo. I don’t know if it’s stolen or missing. I just went to find it during the summer and it’s not where it’s suppose to be. No one else has seen it, I hope someone out there can help me find it.

I found 2 rings today at the gas pump in Garson. If you can describe the other ring not in this photo or show me a photo of them, I will return them to you. The other ring is very unique so the owner should be able to describe it based off this photo alone. Msg on Kijiji

Looking for people who would be interested in putting together a Outlaw Country/Country Rock project together. Not really interested in playing the stuff that is on mainstream radio. Check out some of the Red Dirt Scene groups for reference. I am a laid back easy going person who doesn't mind having a beverage or 2 during rehearsal, as long as it doesn't become the focal point of the session. I am mainly a rhythm guitar player myself and looking for other drama free players to get somehing off the ground, message me back here and we can start collaborating

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.

This event is for experienced line dancers, with at least 1 year experience. Would you like to “Come Dance With Us?” As “Another Year Bites the Dust” we start planning for 2023 and select all the line dance events we would like to attend. “Tell the World” that you are attending Nickel City Line Dance Classic (NCLDC) – Let’s Dance Again! “Where Oh Where” is that located? Sudbury, Ontario, Canada of course! This will be our 11th year hosting this workshop (can’t call it “annual” anymore due to COVID) and Northern Ontario’s Only Line Dance Event charged with excitement! We can’t compete with the larger events, but we have fun just the same! After COVID, we need to meet and dance together again, and if you have never joined us in the past, then this will be the year to do it - you won’t be disappointed!
Our guest instructor will be Zandra McCallum from Burlington, ON, and of course our local instructors – “Pete” Vincent-Schroeder, Marthe Thibeault, Colette Proulx and Carol Larocque. Your playlist for the evening dance is decided by you, the dancers! Please ensure that you submit your requests, as the playlist will only be as good as the requests received.
Same venue as in the past – Polish Combatant Hall, with very nice hardwood flooring, and a stage so you can see the instructors’ feet!
Instruction will happen from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with an hour taken for lunch (included in your registration cost). Supper hour break (on your own) will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Doors will re-open at 7:15 p.m. and it will be up to you to be ready to “Dance Without a Partner”!!!
Our charity of choice will be the Blue Door Soup Kitchen, which relies solely on donations, as they do not receive funding of any kind. Door prizes are given out at lunch time. 50/50 draw will take place at 4:10 p.m. Cost: Early Bird - $55, after July 1/23 - $65.
Come join us – we’ll save a place for you on the dancefloor! There are no strangers here – only friends we haven’t met yet!
For more information or flyer and registration forms, visit Dancin’ Feet in Motion – www.dancinfeetinmotion.ca – NCLDC 2023 tab. Also listed in that same tab are recommended hotels and restaurants for your dining pleasure, and directions from your hotel to the hall.
