Good-mannered young roosters
Description
I had a really bad ratio in my hatches last year. All fall/winter, every boy who behaved badly went to freezer camp, but I still have a bunch left. These are all good lads. None are lap-chickens, but they're all easy to handle and not human aggressive. We've had small children visit without issues. They're mostly desperately hormonal, and tidbit for the ladies and try to show them the nesting boxes. $10 or I'd love a trade for hatching eggs, not picky about breed. July hatch, so they're six months old.
The boys are:
Black Orpington: solid black, very iridescent. Big and gorgeous. NO LONGER AVAILABLE
2 White Crested Blue Polish: Almost identical, darker one a little more dominant
1 Mixed Colour Polish: Dunno what to call him, but he's striking. A little flightier. Will fully sit in the next boxes and cluck at the hens and fluff the bedding up for them.
1 Partridge Silkie/Polish Cross: Super beautiful boy.
I also have a few bantam cochin cockerels. These were hatched from shipped eggs, from Manitoba show lines. They're spicy bantams, friendly and easy to catch, starting to boss around the bigger chickens, squaring up against my dogs when they come in the run. $15 each or trade for hatching eggs.
