Rough collie for rehoming

Have made the very hard decision to look for a good home for our loving and loyal 4 year old male rough collie. He is neutered and has some vaccinations and is healthy. He is good around cats and most dogs but he can be protective around certain male dogs . He is gentle and well mannered, excellent on a leash, loves to run fast but also very content to lie around his family. Good with kids. He usually gently lets you know if he needs something. He loves being outside with his people but is a happy indoor dog. Would like to see him go to a caring home with access to a backyard and or someone who is around home or might have another animal to keep company. We cannot bring him to where we are moving.
