Why do we offer the guardian program?
There are three main reasons that we offer the guardian program:
The Dog: A guardian program will allow us to make sure that our dogs are not raised solely in a kennel environment. We believe that all dogs should have a loving family that will care for them for their entire life. This starts in our home at birth and then continues for the rest of the dog’s life. It is our strong belief that kennels can be used for boarding or daycare services, but should not be used for the life of a dog. Having a guardian home solves this issue and makes sure that all of our dogs are properly cared for all of the time.
The Guardian Family: The Guardian Family is able to enjoy and care for a high quality Pomeranian Husky at little to no extra cost (regular expenses of owning a dog such as food/vet care are the Guardian Family’s expense). The regular purchase fee of $3500 to 4000 is waived for the lesser price of $500, in exchange for caring for one of our breeding dogs (under our terms as noted). The Guardian Dog will spend a short period of its’ life in our breeding program and then be retired. This means that the Guardian Family will not only be able to enjoy their dog for its’ entire life, but will also have the opportunity to see the dog’s offspring go off to be enjoyed by other families. By accepting a Guardian dog into your home, you will help us to develop and better this amazing breed.
BC Pomsky: The guardian program benefits us by allowing us to have our breeding dog raised to be socially healthy towards both people and other dogs. While they are with their guardian Families, the dogs will get to know how to behave with people. When they come back to visit us we will be able to continue the human aspect, but also continue the dog’s social pack experience with the dogs that live with us.
If you think you might be interested in our guardian program, please message me and indicate that you would like to participate. We will then get in contact with you and start the process of confirming your eligibility.
