Job Duties
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician maintains, repairs and rebuilds construction equipment in the shop and field on a 5x2 schedule. The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for making recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement, repair the equipment in a timely and financially responsible manner, interpret work orders and technical manuals, and will be provided with a service truck (more duties as required)
About the location
If you love the outdoors, (skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting), then you would love working in YellowKnife!
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess a JourneyPerson/ Red Seal certification and have experience in construction size equipment.
