Security Installer/KeyScan Technician

Arctic Electrical Ltd. is looking for a tech-savvy, experienced security installer to assist us with the following installation, service, and maintenance tasks:
• security camera systems;
• access control systems;
• traditional intrusion / alarm systems;
• intercom systems
We are an Electrical Company based out of Iqaluit, Nu that pride ourselves in providing the highest quality expertise and service to our customers.
We service locations with a variety of security products and solutions, with a primary focus on live video monitoring solutions for construction and commercial sites. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
Preferred Experience and Education
• Must have completed a minimum of high school with a diploma or equivalent;
• Must be able to travel to Nunavut on 6 and 2 turnarounds – travel, accommodations, and meals provided.
• Low voltage wiring, hardware installation and configuration experience an asset;
• Strong knowledge of basic computer programs and systems;
• Computer networking experience is an asset;
• Must be able to work alone or in a team;
• Play a strong role in maintaining storage and inventory;
• Must be comfortable working on ladders and lifts (training will be provided);
• Fluent in English with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks;
• Experience with hand tools, construction an asset; and
• Available to work after hours for client emergencies if needed.
Can be a fast-paced work environment and the tasks vary day to day. Any courses in electrical, construction, or low voltage wiring is an asset.
You're a trust-worthy, self-starter who can work independently, with excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
Must have flexibility to work up to full-time hours and provide backup to other team members.
