Veterinary Customer Service Representative

Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre is looking for a Customer Service Representative to expand our fun and energetic team. Our ideal candidate is a strong team player who is enthusiastic, professional, has excellent people and communication skills and has interest and experience with animals. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
•Provide basic information to clients and the public
•Obtain and process information required to provide services
•Operate switchboard or telephone system
•Record and relay information
•Schedule and confirm appointments
•Send invoices
•Receive and issue payments
•Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
•Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
•Calculate billing charges
•Provide directory assistance
•Relay service to persons with disabilities
•Perform data entry
•Provide customer service
•Sell products on a retail basis

You are confident, compassionate, and willing to learn and grow. You enjoy working independently as well as part of a team and enjoy sharing the tips and tricks you have learned with others. You have excellent telephone skills enjoy working in a busy environment. Prior reception or point of sale experience is an asset. Our ideal candidate has a deep respect for the human-animal bond and has a clear view of the big picture.

Schedule
This is a full-time day shift position working 40 hours per week with the hourly wage of $24.38. Our clinic hours are Mon to Fri, 7:30am – 5:00pm with some shift flexibility.
