HOUSE - I’m seeking one female roommate to share a three-bedroom Takhini North duplex with myself and another roommate. I’m looking for long-term renter (6-month lease minimum). Security deposit: $1000. Personal Liability Insurance required. The price includes all utilities and internet (67GB/month/person).
ROOM - The room comes fully furnished with a queen bed, a dresser, a shelving unit and has a big closet. The house has a great sunny yard and backs onto the greenbelt. There are parking available in the street.
AROUND - Canada Games Centre, Takhini Arena, Yukon University, Yukon Arts Centre, Whitehorse Nordic Centre ski/bike trails are all at walking distance from the house (approx. 10-minute walk). Downtown is 3km away and bus stop is less than 500m from the house.
ME - I'm a woman who works full time and enjoys outdoor activities and events in Whitehorse. I like a tidy and relatively quiet home. I love plants and this led to a jungle explosion in the house!
POTENTIAL ROOMMATE - I’m preferably looking for outdoorsy, active or professional female to share my space with. I like roommates who want to participate in the house life and interact with each other (dinners once in a while, board game night, outdoor activities outside the house, whatever sounds fun!). My house is a smoke-free environment, so please no smokers. No cat/dog either since there are already a cat and a dog living in the house.
