I'm interesed to swap my Mountain Cottage on the edge of the Swiss Alps, right on the border to Switzerland, for a vacation time in South / North Carolina at or close to the beach.
My Cottage is up in the mountains 20 minutes from the next bigger town and one of the biggest lakes in Europe (Lago Maggiore)
It's a very natural, quiet and healty place for vacation.
It offers everything.... delicious food, hiking, swimming, relaxing, skiing (in the winter), and many outdoor activities, shopping in breathtaking cities, markets, attraction not too far away.
Beautiful cozy private Cottage with 2 sleeping areas, 1 badroom, kitchen.
Next airport would be Milan/Zürich. From there you can rent a car or go by bus.

A short drive by car or scooter will take you to other breathtaking beaches and natural areas. Many guided tours are available and they will pick up directly at the condo. Many species of birds, butterflies, reptiles and monkeys visit the area throughout the day providing endless entertainment.
