FARM HAND NEEDED Fencing, farm work Flex hours - Bancroft area

We are a small family run homestead looking for a FARM HAND / General Laborer person in Bancroft area, who can help with putting up fences, do general property maintenance, clean out the barn. Basic carpentry skills like framing, building simple sheds is an asset. Other general work as needed including, cutting and splitting firewood, etc. Farm experience with large and small animals is nice to have; experience working with farm and garden equipment; must be capable of heavy lifting, good work ethic, honest, proven reliability, able to safely work alone and on a team.

Experience is nice to have but more importantly, the individual must have strong work ethic, be honest and reliable. Must have safety shoes / boots available. If you worked on your uncle's or grandfather's farm, it counts, if you held other simple jobs it counts. if selected, you will have to provide at least one reference, preferably two, and papa can count as one of them.

Pay will be negotiated in person but typically ranges from Minimum wage up to 25/hour depending on experience and the work being performed. Great benefit is that most of the time schedule can be flexible and few other times fixed but we have temporary work available throughout the year, so it could be great side gig for the right person, especially a student or a retired person who still has the strength and the will to do some work in a nice quiet natural setting.
