Levi is an $875,000 and 39-time race winner who raced against the richest horse in all of harness racing - Foiled Again - and yet, in January 2023, he still found himself emaciated and dump in a lot, destined to ship for slaughter because he was no longer useful.

Immediately our team stepped in and pulled this gorgeous horse, and began the long road ahead to recovery. Originally he was extremely lethargic and shut down, but slowly - with veterinary intervention, a carefully prepared feed plan, and a lot of TLC, Levi has made almost a complete recovery.

He was evaluated under saddle and took it completely in stride - as any professional campaigner would. He is not quite ready for a regular riding career yet, he still needs more weight and further time to continue allowing his body to heal - but he's very much ready to start searching for his forever family who will love and cherish this amazing retired athlete! He is very much more whoa than go and almost 100% guaranteed that he's going to be a walk only trail type horse, because he has very little interest in going any other speed.

He is up-to-date on everything, and does best outside 24/7 so he has lots of space to move around. He does stock up if left inside for long periods of time. He is still getting grain twice a day and will only go to a home that will continue the current feed regimen that he is on - because we know that it is working for him and we do not want to see him re-gress.
