1975 Fiat 124 Spider Convertible - Running Project
Description
Too many projects, something's gotta go! Fortunately for you, I have decided it would be the Italian number and I'll keep the British stuff.
Here's the Pros:
The body is very good, very little rust and definitely no perforations. She needs new paint but not much prep work required. Glass is excellent and she comes with a brand new top (not yet installed, still in box). The radiator is new-in-box and I just finished installing a new heater core and valve, along with a new timing belt and electronic ignition. Lots of other work done too. I have lots of extra parts.
A lot of work done to the running motor and the original Weber carb is rebuilt. Converted to electric fuel pump and original smog equipment removed. Brakes work good as does the clutch.
The cons are that the motor is running but needs some more work to get it tuned and road-ready. I have lost momentum and will leave it to the next owner to get it to the next level.
The front/rear wheels are not a match and the fronts are the original rims with beauty rings. I have 4 original hub caps. The tires are 13" and in good condition.
The bumpers are there but the chrome is not so good.
The interior needs work, the seats are worn and need recovering. The dash is old and tired.
I have clear title.
