Office Coordinator
Description

We are looking for an experienced office coordinator with 2-3 of years of experience for a construction industry. This coordinator will work very closely with the Superintendent to manage any day-to - day projects and assist in field coordination.

Responsibilities
As an Office Coordinator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide any administrative/executive assistance to staff in their scheduling
- Communicate well with the clients with any client coordination that is required on orders or meetings
- Act as a purchaser for inventory/stock for the office
- Generate Purchase Order numbers for any shipping/receiving
- Coordinate real time with the delivery updates with clients for any products/services being delivered
- Supports the Superintendent with project monitoring and planning
- Assists with budget monitoring, tracking costs and quantities etc.
- Assists tracking time, materials and equipment
- Supports the Superintendents in monitoring quality and conducts simple quality inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Performs other duties as required by the needs of the business
Qualifications
As an Office Coordinator, you must have:
- 2-3 years of office administration experience , preferably in logistics or construction background
- Inventory and quality check products prior to shipment
- Ability to learn and/or apply basic construction principles to solve problems
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in related field preferred (Architecture, Construction, Building Science, Engineering)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- You are located in or around the Port Coquitlam, BC area
