Panel Saw Operator
Description
We are looking to add some experienced Panel Saw Operators to our team in this promising new career opportunity located in Pitt Meadows, BC!
We are in need of someone who has experience operating Panel Saws and is looking for a full-time role. You will get the opportunity to learn more about a variety of products, and learn new and lasting skills in this field. In this role you will be loading dimensions in a computerized saw and pulling materials for cutting. You may load and unload materials as needed or package pallets of flatpacks for shipment. Knowing measurements would be very helpful in this position though we are willing to train. If you have forklift experience that would be a huge bonus to this role as some of the materials will need a machine to move. Our team may be small, but we cover a lot of ground and as we expand we want you to be a part of that growth!
Shift: Monday-Friday
Time: 8:00AM-4:30PM Full-Time
Area: Pitt Meadows, BC
Starting at: $21-25/H depending on experience (forklift certification a bonus!)
This is a full-time position with an immediate start date
Transit accessible

You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia

Responsibilities
• Unpackage and organize incoming and outgoing parts as needed
• Cut or bend materials using a Panel Saw or Heat Bender
• Assemble nuts, and bolts onto completed parts as requested
• Load dimensions into a computerized saw
• Work with measurements and tape measures to ensure correct sizing
• Very strong attention to details while cutting to ensure perfection
• Work on new components each day as we get new orders or sizing available
Qualifications
• Ability to stand or move around throughout your day
• Ability to read tape measurements and understand sizing
• Strong attention to detail and good organization skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
• Forklift operation would be a huge plus in this role
• Experience with a Panel Saw preferred
• You have Steel Toe Boots; all other PPE provided
• You live in the Pitt Meadows, BC area
• You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia
