Rehoming 1 yr old Blue heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)
Description
We are looking to rehome our neutered purebred heeler Oliver. We adopted him at 8 weeks and he is now just over a year old. We believe he will do best in a home with no young children. He is very smart and sweet, but gets reactive, protective and exhibits anxious aggression and will require a patient knowledgeable trainer. Cats and other puppies would require strict supervision. Inside our house he is active, playful, happy and predictable, chewing and barking are not excessive. On walks he is friendly with people he knows, but will nip at strangers trying to reach over his head. He has completed puppy training courses and knows numerous commands and tricks. He has been well treated, is fit and healthy, but circumstances at our household make us think there may be a better place where he could thrive. Please include your living situation (family, individual) your housing (house, acreage, farm) and your work situation (time for dog, hours away from home) We want to make sure he goes to a loving home with a (preferably heeler) experienced owner. We have had him DNA tested, and he is pure Australian Cattle Dog, and has no disease predispositions. We also had him allergy tested, results to both would be provided. Small negotiable rehoming fee would apply, the fit of the household is most important to us.
