Must be comfortable with hand tools, reading and understanding basic blueprints, dig specs and installation instructions. Flexible shifts and being on call an asset. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Representing Bernard’s Pools and Spas LTD. in a professional and respectful manner at all times to clients, vendors, and employees
• Report directly to the Team lead/Onsite Manager
• Participating in assembling Above Ground and On Ground Pools (kits to be assembled on a prepared base) and Fiberglass Pool Installation (location will be excavated as per dig specs, pool installation and levelling, backfill and water, plumbing and equipment start-up)
• Following blueprints, dig specs and plans, along with assembly instructions
• Ensuring quality control for all aspects of a project
• Monitoring equipment use and collection
• Be open to a variety of different tasks
• Ability to bend, stretch, work in a squatting and kneeling position when required
• Ability to work with stamina in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift and carry or wheelbarrow 20 kg over short distances unassisted if needed.
• Own transportation to job site/central pick-up location
Compensation includes competitive wages starting at $20/hr - $23/hr based on experience.
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday (8am - 4pm), Saturday (9 – 3). Hours may vary based on daily work load and projects.

Cavendish Farms is looking for Farm Equipment Operators for a period of 6-8 weeks, beginning mid April until the end of June. The exact start and end date and period of work will be dependent on weather and business needs.
Planting seed potatoes is a dynamic activity that requires communication and teamwork to successfully and safely complete on time. The detail and quality of the planting job is critical for the year round success of the operation. The work done at this seed potato farm is directly connected to our Cavendish Farms french fry plants on PEI.
There is a seasonal bonus available based on working safely and meeting production targets.

Working at our Processing/Warehouse Facility in Kemptown, Colchester County, you will have an integral role in managing materials collected under the Nova Scotia Deposit-Refund and Used Paint Programs. You’ll assist with receiving, storage, processing/baling, and shipping activities while supporting our province-wide Enviro-Depot™ Network.
