Ohmy Profile Stephanie Moore
Born to our Maremma female on Aug 25, this guy had our hearts from the get-go. The largest of the litter, he's expected to reach an adult weight of 80-90lbs.
He is a constant companion and very affectionate, loving everyone and everything (people, other dogs, cats, baby goats). He is a top-notch snuggler and will happily warm your lap if you let him. He is regularly around goats, pigs and chickens and is well behaved around livestock (his mom is a working livestock guardian).
He has shown to be very food motivated and easily trainable. He is house broken and comfortable inside or outside but loves being part of the family whether with people or other dogs. He can be suspicious of changes to his routine but builds confidence with patient guidance. He needs some help getting used to car rides! He is not trained on a leash.
While he was our pick of the litter, we very unfortunately need to rehome him due to a change in circumstances. Preference for rehoming will be a household where he won't be alone for long periods, preferably with other pets. He is very much a "family" dog and is happiest in the company of others. He would do very well on a farm but should adapt to city life too.
He has a clean bill of health from the vet and is up to date on shots and deworming. He is in tact so the new home will need to plan for neutering him at 8-12 months. Please give us a call to discuss your interest.
