In-home Reptile Rescue & Rehab
Description
Hello,
I run a nonprofit at-home reptile rescue and rehabilitation program. I have been taking in rescues in all conditions for several years, I work closely with a local exotic veterinarian and sister rescues.
Experience: currently perusing a degree in Exotic Veterinarian sciences, UBC biology major, work with Vancouver Humane Society and have experience in a veterinarian setting. Equipped with extensive research on exotics husbandry, I specialize in (but am not limited to) medium- to large-sized constricting species of snakes, colubrids, lizards, geckos, iguanid (and other arboreal lizard) species, amphibians such as tree frogs and salamanders. I also work with disabled reptiles and amphibians, whether caused by birth defect (kinked spines, eyeless, etc) or neglect, creating a care plan that works to help them thrive despite their different needs.
Current Capacity: new intake welcome, limited at this time to smaller species with smaller enclosure size restrictions (20-60gal OK). If I do not have room for your surrender, I may refer you to one of my local larger-capacity sister rescues.
