UPDATED MARCH 8. Hello, thank you for your interest in our hedgehogs. We are located on a beautiful 10 acre property near Hope BC where we raise pedigreed African Pygmy Hedgehogs and registered Angus cattle. Animals have been a lifetime passion for us, raising registered cattle in Alberta for most of our marriage. We are now in our 70’s so have downsized a bit. The babies pictured are ready to go now and we generally have new litters ready to go every month. We do maintain a waiting list, a deposit is required, giving people on the list first choice at new litters. Once the waiting list has selected the remaining babies are posted on Facebook, Instagram and on Kijiji. We encourage you to look us up on Facebook and Instagram to see some of our past babies. Our babies come with a food sample, cuddle sack, birth certificate and health guarantee covering any genetic conditions. Our adopters are important to us and we are only a text away if you need assistance. If you would like more information on us, our babies or delivery options please text me (Noreen) at (604) 793-8948 or through this Kijiji posting.

Ginger is a fluffy, adorable, and affectionate bunny boy looking for new human parents to love and spoil him .
Unfortunately, I’m about to start a new journey in my life, and I need to move from my current situation. I’m deeply sad to let him go to another loving family.
I spent 4 years with Ginger; I had him when he was just 6weeks old. Baby ginger was born on August 13th 2018, in a farm in Langley, and after I adopted him, he spent most of his time free roaming my place. He’s social with people, especially when they pet him and give him little treats. He can be shy at first, but he doesn’t need a lot of time to warm up to you.
· Ginger is territorial. He’s currently the only pet in the house, but I did foster a cat before, and he got along amazingly with that cat. My foster cat had a calm personality, so I’m sure Ginger won’t do well with a kitten or a hyperactive cat.
· Unlike other rabbits, he doesn’t like hay. He gets fresh greens twice a day and has pellets on his bowl all day. I still use hay for his litter box on top of the bedding.
· His favorite treats are BANANAs, raisins, and dried pineapples. I give him treats twice a day or more because he’s a good boy.
· A tunnel is a must! Ginger loves spending time and sleep in his tunnel.
· Ginger is very cute when he’s all dressed up but cannot tolerate it for too long.
-The new family will need to protect the baseboards, because naturally rabbits love chew on soft woods. Luckily, there are many affordable ways to do so. Ginger used to chew on the baseboard when he was younger. Although, he stopped doing it at my place; I can't guarantee that he won't do it in his new environment. He will need time to adjust. The best about Ginger:
- Litter trained! Ginger knows where to do his business. He never pees outside of his box, but you can find some of his poop on the floor from time to time.
- Ginger is healthy and has had his RHDV2 vaccine. His appointment for his 2023 vaccine is in February. He goes every year to West Boulevard Clinic.
- Ginger is already neutered! He calmed down a lot after that and doesn't chew the cables or the walls anymore. Your phone chargers are safe.
- Once Ginger knows your eating routine, he would come and eat with you at the same time.
- For now, I’m the only one who can hold him, but once he trusts you as his new pawrent, I’m sure he will even let you pet him for a longer time. He also used to jump on my bed and stays with me for a bit before going back to his kingdom (The living room).
Ginger deserves someone who would give him attention and love, especially someone who has a stable living situation. I wish I could keep him, but I need to move very soon, and I can’t take him with me. If you are interested, I would love to have a chat and see where Ginger would be living. Unfortunately, since I’ll be moving, bringing him back to me if not a good fit for you is not an option, so you need to be sure about adopting him.
If you are the right person for Ginger, I’m ready to split his expenses (Food and Vet). I want the best for him, and I would love to receive his updates and pictures. And of course, reach out to me if you need any tips on his food choices or anything.
We are located in Richmond, BC.

This is lucky I’ve had her for about 7 months now. If I could keep her I would. She has a lot of personality and will definitely make you laugh a little she also hates cages but loves to be cuddled. Due to my job I have very little time for her and I want to give her to better family that can give her the care she needs.

White is named Sketch and is a holland lop. Grey is a rex named Rex.
Sketch is a neutered 2 year old male. Rex is a female and we are unsure of her age. She was left behind in an apartment and given to us to care for. They have really bonded and need to go together.
Both are friendly and no bite. Very curious. They don’t like being handled too much but they don’t mind me petting them when they’re in their cage. When they’re out of cage they just like exploring the area and doing their own thing. Litter trained.
Please forgive their disheveled looks. They are mid-molt. They molt twice a year and it lasts for a couple of weeks.
Please let me know a bit about yourself if you’re interested. Thanks
$30 rehoming fee for both rabbits (together not each)
Or $80 for both rabbits with a cage & litter pan.
We are in Surrey, not Richmond.

She’s very friendly and is looking for a loving home. Still needs to be potty trained. I’m working 6 days a week I don’t have the time to take care of her. If this ad is up then she’s available

Hey all! We're looking for adopters for our 2023 litters, so if interested, please keep reading to learn about the adoption process and how you can join our waitlist. We are the only ethical hamstery in the Lower Mainland that breeds pedigreed hamsters (lineage & genetics are fully known). Many breeders exist, but not all are truly ethical. You can read about our specific practices listed in our website below.
We are dedicated to breeding to improve the species of Syrian hamsters. The current wait time is around 2-4 months depending on the number of babies available. Our breeding hamsters are pedigreed with 5-7 generations of documentation showing the family tree and the genes that they carry. The wait time ensures that there are wonderful homes lined up for each litter, that the hamsters are being bred only once or twice with breaks, and that mother hamsters getting lots of rest and care.
Our hamsters are known for the gentle disposition, health, and temperament. We've had over 200+ adopters so far over the past years! Each hamster breeding is carefully planned and thought about - in what ways will the breeding parents pass down their positive traits to their offspring? Since we know the lineage and genetics of our hamsters, we can plan accordingly.
If you're interested in adopting one from our future litters (currently spots are open for Feb and March litters), we invite you to fill out our application form. To join the waiting list, there is a $15 deposit that is required to hold your spot. Filling out the application form alone doesn't get you on the waitlist. We will send confirmation once you're on the waitlist.

Website: https://lavendermeadowshamstery2022.weebly.com/Adoption fee of $65, 15 deposit and 50 adoption fee. A vet checkup fee of $35 is factored into the adoption fee as all babies are taken to the vet before rehoming. One quality --> one price. Per litter: we spend $80 on the care of every hamster in a litter of 6.
Benefits of adopting from an ethical hamster breeder:
1. Stopping the rodent mill industry - all the hamsters in pet stores come from rodent mills that mass breed negligibly in order to meet the popular. In order to make a considerable profit, the lowest quality of care, housing, and diet is provided. One less purchase from the store, stops another hamster from being bred. There is a long way to go but we will eventually get there one day. Our hamsters are sourced from other ethical breeders who don't seek to make a profit but rather to breed to benefit the species. Ethical breeders provide proper care and husbandry and do not (and can not) make a profit with breeding.
2. Easy taming and socialization - from the very start, hamsters in the rodent industry are not handled. Breeders will breed the hamsters regardless of temperament history like if the hamster has a history of aggression. There are hundreds if not thousands of hamsters in mills, there is no time for the breeder to handle and play with every hamster every day. There is no time for handling once hamsters reach the stores - especially now due to COVID, one can't even touch/hold a hamster before buying it. Our hamsters are socialized daily from the very beginning and are bred for temperament. They are handled by kids and adults for 1-3 hours every day once they reach two weeks and up till 6 weeks. Therefore, when they go home they are very friendly and used to being held. When our adopters first meet their hamsters, most hamsters warm up very quickly and can be held, cuddled, and snuggled with the first moments when they meet. Back home, adopters have an easy time handling the hamster (sometimes males are trickier) and can bond right away which is always ideal.
3. Health of the hamsters - Health history is looked at for our hamsters because having the hamsters live a long and healthy life is very important to us. We only breed healthy hamsters with no health problems. We follow the most up to date care and provide the hamsters with enriching habitats where they can thrive. Rodent mills don't care if a hamster is blind, hairless or if they have a negative mutation. They will breed them anyways which is unfortunate because often health problems are genetic and get passed to their offspring. Due to the poor housing, bad breeding, diet, and care, they are even more prone to diseases and injuries. This is why premature deaths and hamsters dying out of nowhere is so common with pet store hamsters! With the goal of making profit, that means the care the hamsters receive is very very poor quality.

Albino female hedgehog needs a new home. We rescued this girl a while back from a bad situation, she was living in a hamster cage with no room to move around. We have set her up with a new cage, wheel, hut, etc. which is all included.
She is VERY friendly. Hardly balls up and has quite the personality. Unsure of her age because she was a rescue, we were told just under 3 years old.
Very sad to let her go, but we already have a male hedgehog and the goal was to get her the proper cage set up and find her a new loving family.
Will be cautious about who she goes to as we don’t want to see her end up in a similar situation we found her in.
Message for pictures - will try to upload some soon.

It’s better if you already have a Guinea pig, or you adopt a pair. All boron in late November 2022. They are very friendly. 15/per for re-homing fee.

Hello there! I’m rehoming this male Guinea pig, if you’re interested I’ll give you his food, bottle of water and small tree house. You will need a cage for him. I’m asking for an adoption fee to make me sure that he will be fine and happy in his new home.

He’s a 6 month old holland lop rabbit, but due to moving to a new place we can’t keep him anymore. He’s very gentle, potty trained and well behaved. Loves lounging around all day and eating treats. He’s used to being picked up and given cuddles, is great around children and other animals (we have a cat).
He has never bitten, chewed or dug anywhere, including carpet. He comes with the whole set - hay, litter box, training fence (originally $100), and mat (originally $75). He’s honestly just a great bunny and I hope he can go to a kind, loving home.

Purebred Netherland dwarf rabbits looking for new homes.
Netherland dwarfs are the smallest breed of all rabbit breeds. They are intelligent, kind and very trainable.
All our bunnies are litter box trained and/or will go to the bathroom in one corner. They are not spayed or neutered however are up to weight to be altered (we do encourage this as they make nicer, more loyal pets)
Their lifespan is 7-10 years
They max out at 2-3 lbs fully grown.
Their nails are trimmed monthly and are use to having this done.
Our bunnies are raised indoors and outdoors. They have large outdoor runs when the weather is nice and dry.
They are handled daily by children and adults. They are raised around dogs, chickens and cats.
We give a feeding starter kit of pellets, bedding for the litter box and Timothy hay. All bunnies will have their nails trimmed prior to leaving our home. These bunnies come from pedigree stock. They are great for pets, brood or show. Prices vary from $100-300.00 each
Located in Cumberland but we do travel to Victoria often.
-chestnut 5 month buck $100 (pedigreed)
-chestnut 5 month buck $150 (pedigreed)

Hey guys!
Sadly, we have to part with these babies. They are both Roborovski hamsters. Both female. They are about 1.5 years old. They were together in the very beginning (as seen in the photos), but we have separated them since. I just wanted to show a photo of them both. Basically everything in the photos will be included. Cage (Ikea Detolf), wheels, logs, wood, some leftover food + bedding we still have. Everything hamster related that we have we will throw in as well.
We won't just rehome them to anyone. I'd prefer them to go to someone that has some experience with Robos. None of them bite. Both are super friendly and will take treats while sitting on your hand! We spent a lot of time with them and handling them.
If you have any questions just shoot me a message! Thanks! Would just really like to find a good home for the babies!
