Hi! I’m looking for a single roommate to share my 2 bedroom apartment in the South Granville / Fairview area. This apartment is on the 2nd (top) floor, a great size (approx. 1000 sq. ft) with wood floors, high ceilings and large bright windows. It is quiet and nestled in the heart of South Granville within easy walking distance (one block away from Granville; 3 blocks from Broadway) to cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, green park spaces, Kits beach and Granville Island. It is also very accessible for public transportation (buses # 10, 9, 99, 16, 14) and is close to downtown. The private bedroom has large windows and is fully furnished with a night stand, computer desk / chair, double bed, mattress and dresser. There is a large closet in the room as well. We will share all the common areas; bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room.

WHO WILL BEST FIT:
Someone with an easy going nature, is respectfully quiet, a good communicator, responsible, considerate, kind and mentally stable; a working professional or student (preferably not working from home full-time), is Covid conscientious, tidy and happy to contribute to keeping the apartment clean This would be a great place for students because of the proximity to things and easy commute. This arrangement could also work for someone who lives out of town but comes into Vancouver regularly and needs a place to stay. Preference for a male-identifying person between 20 to 40, but this is not necessary. I'd also like to rent it to someone who has long term plans, ideally at least a year (a minimum of 6 months).
WHO AM I:
I am a self-employed artist in the music industry and a youth worker; working mainly from home and sporadically out of town. In my spare time, I like to relax with my girlfriend, listen to records, paint, draw, read, write, go for nature walks and travel. I’m a quiet, respectful guy and my interests include hip hop, crystals, food, geography, world cultures and history.
THE APARTMENT / THE BUILDING:
• Large living space with kitchen, 1 bathroom, living room, dining area and 2 bedrooms. • There is a TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Crave.
• Shared spaces are furnished. (There is room for a 2 seater couch if you have one).
• Your private bedroom is fully furnished
• There is a communal coin laundry room on the ground floor of the building. • The building is small with quiet neighbours and around 16 units.
