Description:
We are seeking a Finishing Carpenter to assist a team of volunteer carpenters to renovate a motorhome to be used for our organization’s Drum Run Adventure Tour, which will be a 10-week journey beginning this fall.

Work on the motorhome will be taking place in Vancouver in the Kitsilano area. If you have any skill in finishing and renovating cabinetry, flooring, vehicle exterior, or general carpentry please reach out to our organization founder Lyle Povah by at --> hello@rhythmoflifesociety.org
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Finishing and renovating cabinetry, flooring, vehicle exterior, and/or general woodworking as needed.
- Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, decking, furniture, etc.
- Collaborate with other carpenters to create plans and specifications.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Completion of a relevant finish carpentry training program or apprenticeship or at least one year of carpentry experience
- A vehicle may be required to transport building materials and tools.
- Your own tools, safety equipment, and machinery if you have them.
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights and in tight spaces.
