Hi, I'm Jeff! As Canada's top-reviewed LSAT private tutor with 3,000+ hours of instructional experience, I've helped hundreds of students make massive improvements in their LSAT scores (a recent student went from 144 to 167).
I am not your stereotypical LSAT tutor with a genius-level IQ who aced the test without much effort. Having scored a very disappointing initial diagnostic, I had to learn the LSAT from scratch.
Having personally worked my way up the LSAT totem pole eventually scoring in the 93rd percentile, I know how you can improve your score wherever you are in your LSAT prep journey.
Here are three distinguishing features of my LSAT tutoring practice:
1. I've dedicated my career to teaching this test. I transitioned from being a licensed lawyer to making LSAT tutoring my full-time vocation, helping hundreds of students improve their scores while accumulating thousands of hours of tutoring experience in the process.
2. My students consistently achieve great results (Working with hundreds of students and helping them improve their scores, I am now the most Google-reviewed LSAT tutor in Canada). I also help students with their personal applications and give law school admissions tips.
3. I have experience working with a wide range of students. Whether you are entirely new to the LSAT or you are struggling with speed, I know how to tailor the tutoring to meet your individual tutoring needs. I have a lot of experience working with students with ADHD and learning disabilities as well as non-native speakers.

Learn to speak Canadian English with greater clarity and confidence!
Learn standard Canadian English pronunciation to improve the clarity of your English speech for more effective and confident communications.
A specialist in foreign accent reduction and English pronunciation training is accepting new clients. Highly qualified with many years of successful experience training professionals to improve their English pronunciation in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Vancouver and Toronto.
> In-person speech training is available in the comfort and convenience of our office in Downtown Toronto near Davenport Road at Dovercourt Road.
> Also available via ZOOM. Learn important English communication skills online from home or office without the need to travel or commute.
English language abilities are essential in an increasingly globalized and competitive world. Basic English skills used to provide a competitive edge; however, these days higher-level English-speaking abilities - especially proper pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, cadence and fluency - have become essential for effective communication and success.
This is increasingly urgent for foreign-born professionals living and working in Canada. Foreign-born professionals must learn to speak English clearly and confidently to be understood and perform well in English-based professional working environments.
These issues are even more urgent when speaking online or on the phone, where non-verbal communication signals like gestures by the hands and face are greatly reduced, and communication is dependent entirely on the clarity of one's voice.
Regrettably, a strong foreign accent, rapid rate of speech, or peculiar intonation and cadence can be difficult to understand, and become serious impediments to successful integration and professional advancement. Thankfully, with training results are immediate and these issues can be corrected relatively quickly.
The many subtle qualities of English speech arise from oral cultural traditions and principles learned from native speakers. These subtle qualities are not academic disciplines that can be learned from books, nor are they physiological pathology to be "treated" by speech therapists or speech pathologists.
The subtle principles governing the pronunciation of English speech can only be learned by by working one-on-one with highly experienced, multilingual English elocution coach focusing on the abilities and needs of each individual client.
The English ability, accent, intonation and speech pattern of each person is unique, requiring training personalized for each individual. A foreign accent can only be reduced by training one-on-one with a highly experienced English pronunciation coach using specialized systems that focus on the specific needs and improving the abilities of each individual person.
In addition, each profession employs a specific vocabulary and vernacular, so each foreign born professional requires training to speak the very specific words, phrases and jargon used in their industry. I have experience working with top professionals in information technology, banking, finance, real estate, project management, marketing, engineering, cardiology, neurology and ophthalmology to name just a few!
This program is not general "English teaching" but English elocution training for foreign-born professionals to reduce their foreign accented speech and improve the overall prosody and clarity of their speech.
Many foreign-born professionals are aware they speak accented English; however, they are not sure what the specific problems may be. Knowing one speaks English with a foreign accent but not understanding what the specific issues are or how to correct them a can be confusing and frustrating.
The very first benefits clients experience from this training is understanding the specific qualities of their accent, and relief at learning strategies for overcoming these issues. which is very liberating and empowering because knowledge is power!
The following specialized one-on-one English speech training is available:
FOREIGN ACCENT REDUCTION:
• Learn to identify and overcome the specific subtle errors with pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and cadence caused by foreign accented English speech.
• Learn the correct arrangements of lips, teeth and tongue to form and enunciate the specific sounds of Canadian/North American English correctly and clearly.
• Learn to use the most effective rhythm, intonation and cadence for phases and sentences.ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION TRAINING:
• Learn to form the proper combinations of lips, teeth, tongue, breath and voice to enunciate the specific sounds of the English language clearly.
• Learn how to enunciate specific consonant and vowels sounds, and the differences between short, long and diphthong vowels.
• Learn to speak English more clearly, with improved intonation (stress), rhythm and cadence to be better understood by native English speakers.ENGLISH SPEECH FLUENCY:
• Learn to identify and overcome the overuse of annoying filler words - "basically", "like", "um", "ah", "eh", "you know" - that are interfering with the flow, rhythm, clarity and comprehension of your speech.
• Learn to overcome speaking with a rising, interrogative tone, to make statements with a professional-sounding declarative tone.
• Learn to overcome a rapid rate of speech (speaking too quickly), which may sound anxious and insecure and confusing for listeners.
• Learn to overcome hesitant, halting or staccato speech, and to overcome hesitancy or shyness to speak more directly and powerfully.
• Learn to speak with greater clarity and confidence to be better understood during interviews, meetings, presentations, seminars, public speaking and team training.
• Learn to enunciate voiced and unvoiced consonants and word endings to give your vocal range more clarity, depth and gravitas.PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ENGLISH:
• Learn to properly employ the specific vocabulary and jargon of your professional occupation or areas of interest more clearly and confidently.
• Learn to speak about your profession, professional ideas, area of study and related subjects with a greater range of vocabulary.CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH:
• Learn contemporary, up-to-date English greetings and civilities.
• Learn polite formal English pronunciation and phrases, and more common colloquial (informal) forms of speech, as well as the newest trendy slang terms.
• Expand your range of English vocabulary and improve fluency for general conversation and confident social interaction.ABOUT SCHEDULING:

Raise your LSAT score with the help of an experienced LSAT Tutor! Let us help you reach your potential on one of the most important tests you will ever write. We have taught hundreds of satisfied students and we are confident we can help you reach your goal as well.
My name is Tara and I started this tutoring company in 2014. I am an experienced private LSAT tutor and I scored 170 on my LSAT. I began tutoring after I graduated from law school and have helped hundreds of future law students increase their scores and go on to attend the schools of their dreams. I went to law school in New York, so if you are considering attending law school in Canada or in the United States I can help you with the application process as well. You do not need to purchase any additional materials.
We offer all the materials you will need to study for your LSAT exam including:
Logical Reasoning questions organized by type
Logic Games questions organized by type
Reading Comprehension questions organized by type
Past LSATs 1-85
Outlines of how to attack every question type on the LSATContact me now and I will put together a lesson plan for you and a study schedule to make sure you are 100% prepared to reach your maximum potential when you write your LSAT exam.
I have also personally trained all of the other LSAT tutors in my company. I promise you will be happy with whomever you decide to work with. And no matter what tutor you work with I am always available to you as a resource as well. I am happy to answer any questions you have with your homework free of charge. You can see more about me on my website:
www.tutoringlsat.com
I am also a featured tutor on the new site created by the author of the best selling LSAT book The LSAT Trainer: www.lsatters.com
I have personally created tip sheets for how to tackle each type of question within each of the three main sections of the LSAT that we will go over together in your sessions. I created my tip sheets by going through multiple LSAT books and blogs and pulling only the most useful information from them on how to tackle questions as well as adding to it from my own experiences with LSAT questions. (I have personally answered thousands of LSAT questions).
I know many LSAT students struggle with the Logic Games section of the LSAT and I can help to break down each type of logic game to help you understand how to "map out" all of the questions for that section. Also, you will learn to spot the most and least limited variables, which will help you get through the logic game questions faster. You will know which answer choice to test first, which will save you valuable seconds or even minutes on the test. My style for attacking the logic games is faster than most other methods out there! Go on my website and look at how to do some of the logic games from the December 2015 LSAT: www.tutoringlsat.com
However, after the June sitting of the test the Logic games section will not be apart of the LSAT. So depending on when you are writing it we will work through it together or we can omit it.
We will also go through all of the different types of Logic Reasoning questions and I can help you understand how to tackle each type of question and spot the typical "wrong answer choices". Also, I will help you understand what to look for when you are reading the stimulus of each question, which can help you predict the right answer.
Furthermore, I can give you tips on how to get through the reading comprehension section faster and to help you learn what to read each passage for and how to create a roadmap.
Finally, we will quickly go through tips on how to master the writing portion of the LSAT. The writing portion is ungraded, but it does get sent along with your application. This section just tests your ability to develop an argument, which is basically what law school is all about. However, we would only need to spend a couple of minutes on this section.
Before our first session I will give you a diagnostic test to complete. This is just to give yourself a base score so you can monitor your improvement. Also, I will leave you with homework questions to do on your own after our meetings that you can work through on your own to strengthen the skills you will develop during our sessions together.
If you ever get stuck on a few of your homework questions, I offer free 24/7 help on those homework questions. I want you to reach your maximum potential so whether you work with me or one of the other tutors I am always happy to send you write-ups back of how to attack questions.
The key to the LSAT is practice. You need to be putting in time to practice the skills you will learn in our sessions. Also, if you ever have a quick question when you are going through practice questions on your own I will always be available to help you outside of our sessions.
I can give you a free consultation on skype or the phone about how we will proceed with your study plan. The hourly rate is:
$55+ per hour for individual LSAT tutoring from one of my other tutors
$130/hr for working with Tara(go to www.tutoringlsat.com for more information about working with me directly)
**All the materials you will need, including prep tests, are included**
Most prep courses will cost you thousands of dollars and you'll be in a class of 30+ students - but you can get private tutoring for less! Contact me now if you'd like to begin your path to mastering the LSAT !
We can meet you via Skype, I am located in Vaughan. I have a flexible schedule and can work around your schedule for our meetings. I tutor the LSAT full time and have been tutoring since I graduated law school in 2014.
I look forward to hearing from you!

In post Covid era, online is considered to be most effective, and efficient tool to reach out to students. My current students always tell me that online learning using Zoom breakout rooms, and white board is no different than a real classroom. It saves lot of commute time, and energy leaving the student valuable time for other subjects.
I charge $25 an hour when teaching in groups of two or three with similar skill sets, and learning style determined on the basis of initial 1 hour diagnostic test (test cost same as the hourly rate). Contact me for diagnostic test (@$25/ hr).

Hello, my name is Carlo and I am a literacy specialist teacher in my school district on the North Shore. Prior to this teaching role, I taught early primary, mainly Kindergarten for over 20 years. It was in Kindergarten where I was fortunate enough to have taught hundreds of 5 and 6 year-olds to learn to read. Now, in my current role, I help struggling children from K-7 to find a new path to reading.
If you’re a parent with a young child ready to learn to read, this program is for you. My son was reading prior to the age of 4. If your child is struggling in their primary or intermediate years, this program is for them. Wherever your child/children are in their journey to independent reading fluency, I can help them.
There are no miracle paths to reading, just a sound program grounded in phonics and daily intervention.
Individualized Program Features:
• phonological and phonemic awareness skills
• foundational decoding skills
• phonics for reading and spelling
• high frequency word recognition
• comprehension
• reading fluency
