You can enjoy kayaking & canoeing, beachcombing, bonfires, clam digging, oyster picking, and salmon fishing or rent a boat and tour the islands. This Vancouver Island vacation rental is centrally located for easy day trips around Vancouver Island, and walking distance from the village, which has all the essentials for your stay. There are lots of great things to do in Parksville and Qualicum Beach BC, and it’s a quick drive to Coombs (famous for their Goats on the Roof Market), Fanny Bay (world famous oysters), Buckley Bay (and the ferry to Denman and Hornby Islands). It’s only 35 minutes to the Comox Valley to the north, Port Alberni to the West, and Nanaimo to the south.
