ONE LEFT: 50% SALE -Registered Haflinger Dispersal
Description
Lavender Lana and her colt are the only Haflingers still available. Please see information below.
Update: prices greatly reduced because of the drought and our own family expanding. These new prices DO NOT include CHA registration transfer. If you want papers, please let me know. This is a chance to buy papered horses for a fraction of the price. Adding papers will double most prices listed on the ad.
Offering for sale a variety of 4 broodmares. Please read entire ad before replying. All registered with CHA and UTD with deworming and trimming. All mares good to trailer. A range of ages from 10 to 20 with options of foals at side or waiting until current foals are weaned. All mares are rebred to Simba EGR, our outstanding stallion onsite. Please note that these are all broodmares and are not technically broke to ride or drive. They definitely could be. We've only had them three years and do not know much about their past. We will not be making lots of pictures and videos. All horses are sound and healthy and if their ad is up they are available.
We bought them to help out a friend going through health issues, but do not have a desire to breed registered horses on this scale.
LAVENDER LANA (colt at side) Lavender is 14.3hh and a very fancy type. Picture 1 and 7 with current colt Sitka. She dislikes dewormer (anything oral) but she is not hard to handle once on halter. With daily handling she transforms. She is 10 years old and an independent dam who could retire from breeding and still look great to start a new career. $1,000 for her, $500 for unborn foal, $2,000 for colt at side. Taken now she will be $3,500 bred with colt at side, take her after weaning this fall, she will be $1,500 bred.
SOLD: B-LOIS (colt at side) Lois is Lavender's half sister. 14.2 hh and 11 years. Pictures 8 and 9 are her current colt Sycamore. A very sweet and capable dam, good to handle. $1,000 for her, $500 for unborn foal, $2,000 for colt at side. Taken now she will be $3,500 bred with colt at side, take her after weaning this fall, she will be $1,500 bred.
SOLD: EMMA MAY (lost her filly this spring when it couldn't escape the sac to breathe.) Emma is 14.1hh and 13 years. Very solid in the front end, she is very friendly and easy to catch and loves pets. A capable dam and also looks great to start a new career. Her feet and legs are impeccable and she almost never requires trimming. Very athletic. $2,000 for her, $500 for unborn foal. Taken before the new year she is $2,500.
SOLD: MARBREN CATHY: (filly at side) Cathy is gentle and easy to handle once on halter. Picture 3 and 4 (right side) and 10 with current filly Cypress. 13.3hh, 19 years, and a traditional Haflinger build, she is a very easy keeper. She prefers to stay away from human touch, but has no vices and is just fine to handle once caught (easy to do with grain and daily handling.) We have ridden her and she is gentle. She looks great for the number of foals she's had. $500 for her, $500 for unborn foal, $2,000 for filly at side. Taken now she will be $3,000 bred with filly at side, take her after weaning this fall, she will be $1,000 bred and $500 open.
$500 off if you purchase two or more mares. We paid over double for these same mares 2/3 years ago and are only offering at a discount because raising the foals takes too much time at this stage in our lives and drought and hay prices are continuing. Please be respectful of our time and do not inquire if you do not have the purchase price available or are not seriously interested. Mares will not be preg-checked at these prices. If you require registration papers and preg checking the prices will be substantially higher. If you buy a mare at the bred price and she turns out to be open next spring I will refund the $500 for the foal.
Delivery options available for a reasonable fee.
