Yard & Materials Coordinator (Part-Time, Permanent)
We are a busy manufacturing company seeking a reliable, hands-on Yard & Materials Coordinator to manage and maintain our outdoor compound and materials yard.
This is a permanent, year-round, part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling. It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys staying active and working independently — including retired individuals looking for steady, meaningful work.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Organizing and maintaining outdoor inventory including EPS foam, poly and vinyl rolls, aluminum rails, and other manufacturing materials
• Managing recycling, waste, foam offcuts, and general yard cleanliness
• Moving materials (forklift use required)
• Keeping materials protected, accessible, and safely stored
• Supporting the production team with yard-related material requests
• Monitoring stock conditions and alerting management of any problems
What We’re Looking For
• Forklift experience (certification an asset; training available if needed)
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Safety-minded with a strong work ethic
