Parrotlet Babies Looking for Homes
Description
•• INTRO ••
We have two peppy, sweet female baby Pacific parrotlets (hatched November 19th and November 25th, 2022) who are currently weaning and ready to go to their new homes in mid to late January. The older one is the blue fallow (light blue with red eyes and a white half mask) and the younger one is the blue parrotlet.
•• ABOUT THE BREEDER ••
We are a small-scale breeder in the North Okanagan registered with the Avicultural Advancement Council of Canada (AACC). We abide by the standards of practice as they are defined by AACC, and we take pride in our ethical breeding philosophy. We are a disease-free aviary, and we work closely with our avian vets to ensure the health and safety of our flock.
•• ABOUT THE BABIES ••
The girls are sisters (from the same clutch) and can also be adopted together, as they get along very well and are still interested in playing, snuggling and hanging out with people either together or separately. Both are hand fed and hand tame and love sitting on people's shoulders and heads. They also like preening your hair and falling asleep against your neck. The older one (blue fallow) is a bit more active/adventurous, whereas the younger one is a bit cuddlier.
•• IF I ADOPT A PARROTLET ••
The babies are being weaned onto a combined pelleted/vegetable (chop) diet. They are banded with a registered AACC aluminum band with their individual numbers, and hatch certificates will be issued when they find homes. They also come with food samplers and parrotlet care guides and tips. We have a health guarantee on our birds (some restrictions apply, e.g., harm due to lack of care).
•• MORE INFORMATION ••
Please don't hesitate to us a message if you are interested or would like to know the price; we can also give you more information, pictures and videos of the babies. A discount applies if the girls go to a home together.
