As a Communication Support Specialist, you will have the mandate to help people with disabilities (verbal or auditory) to communicate. It may be a call to a loved one, a call to a service provider, or any other type of communication. Your role will be to transmit their conversation in real-time and make sure to facilitate their exchanges. Communication being a daily challenge, you will bring a positive impact in the lives of these people.

- Hourly rate of $19.25 after training ((including a $2 premium and a Bilingual premium of $2 per hour worked)

- Available to work full-time, 40 hours a week schedule between Sunday to Saturday 12am till 12am
- Candidates must also be available at all times.
- This position does require for staff to work on-site at our Quebec center.
In this role, you will:
- Provide customer support using a variety of adapted communication tools;
- Transmit the necessary information to the parties involved while maintaining continuous contact with the customer;
- Ensure a pleasant and warm experience thanks to your human side.
- Serving a customer base that is hearing impaired and that you will support with communication.
You are bilingual: you must speak fluent English and French to interact with French and English-speaking customers in Canada. Answering customers in English will be required between 30 and 60% of the time;
- High school diploma or the equivalent, completed;
- Ability to type quickly and precisely (40 words/minute);
- Ability to work in a computerized environment and to perform various tasks simultaneously.
- You will work on-site at our Montreal centre on all shifts and meet the requirements for working at our centres (criteria will be discussed during the interview).
